Now, onto my new card! I whipped this one up last night for my friend who just had a baby last week. I went to visit them today and reconnect with another friend I haven't seen in a couple of years, and I had so much fun! Babies are so cute and they smell so yummy (don't get any ideas just yet, mom)! She liked the card so much that she said she was going to frame it and hang it in her baby's room since it matches the new decor! LOL :)
For this card, I used those great $1 Inkadinkado stamps that my wonderful mom picked up for me last week. The patterned paper is from the Basic Grey "LilyKate" paper pad I picked up at Big Lots of $2! Score! The main flower is a small Prima with a Garden Party flower behind it that I got on clearance at Target (yup, this girl is all about the bargain!). The ribbon is American Crafts, and all the little acrylics are "Skittles." This may be difficult to see, but I used a Stampin' Up! wheel stamp to roll across the green strip of paper to give it a very soft and subtle look. I used my Dew Drop "Key Lime" ink pad to ink up the wheel. I really like these small ink pads. They're great for getting into tight spots, and they have a wonderful matte look.
This past week was also a very good scrappy mail week. First, I received my All Moments Remembered monthly kit which is absolutely beautiful. Then, I got two awesome ATCs from my scrappy friends. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of one of them, but here's the card that accompanied it. Great sentiment!
This ATC is from a friendship swap from my new scrappy pal. She taylored the card just for me! On the front we have my favorite flower, and when you lift up the flap, we have my favorite animal! The entire card is also done in my favorite color. She couldn't have captured anymore of "me" if she tried!
Lastly, I won a little something over on Laura's blog, Where the Tigardlily Grows. She sent me the cutest card along with some of the ever-popular "Skittles" as well as a real bag of candy Skittles! LOL! She had me cracking up over here.

I LOVE your baby card! Very cute and awesome colors.
Congrats on winning some goodies. The baby card you made is so cute. Love the color combo!
I'm glad you're feeling better. :) That baby card is really pretty. Way to go! I'm glad you're getting your "groove" back too! And I'm glad you've had some happy mail days. I'm fiendin' for a happy mail day but I'm on a scrap diet until we get caught up on bills. By the way, just curious, how do you adhere the skittles? Glue dots?
Whoo hoo!!! Glad you got your scrap back, and in the nick of time too! :) It will be a great decor item in the baby's room. It's a beautiful card. Look forward to seeing more of your creations now that you've got your scrap back. :)
Glad you got your groove back! Thanks for sharing the cute baby card. Could you tell me your source for the "skittles" {dew drops}. I have looked at Michaels, they don't have them. We just have one Stamping/Scrapbook store in the town that I live in- they have clear and yellow but at $4.00 for about 15 thats just alittle high for my budget. Thanks so much!
Thanks for all the comments, everyone! Just to answer a few questions...
Inara - I use Zip Dry Paper Glue to adhere the Skittles. It's the best glue to use on clear items as it dries clear, so it's wonderful for acrylic albums, too!
Nancy - I got my Skittles through some very generous RAKs that people sent to me. I also found a few left-over bags at my Michaels. They were clearancing them out, and I haven't been able to find anymore since. E-mail me your snail mail, and I'll put some in the mail for you!
