For the last two years, I've been involved in several local craft fairs. They're tons of fun, but they're also a lot of of hard work, and they can be quite stressful. That's why this year I've decided to hang up my crafting hat and take a break. Since I'm not even in the craft fair mindset, it was quite the surprise to receive this in my e-mail the other day:
Yup, that's me in the upper right hand corner doing a transaction at last year's event! One of the town's employees must have snapped this picture without me knowing and then decided to post it in this year's fall event brochure. Since Travis and I recently moved, I would have never know about the picture had my girlfriend not e-mailed it to me.
Speaking of craft fairs, I thought I would share with you some of the stuff I made. Almost everything sold which was really exciting. Last year's fair was was actually my most successful event to date.
First up, the ever popular Post-It note stands:

Large binder clip recipe/photo holders:

Chocolate boxes:

Bookmarks:

Hot cocoa mug sets (found the white mugs at Target for $1.50 each...great deal):

Body scrub bath set (again, found the body scrub at Target in the dollar bin and just dressed them up a bit):

Gift boxes (Travis spray painted them for me and I did the rest):

Last up, a quick picture of Travis and me at my booth.

Thanks for stopping by today! I will be back on Wednesday :)

You're a star! :) And glad you're taking a break from the craziness of getting ready for the craft fairs this year as I know you were uber stressed last year.
Love what you made last year and wonderful that T was a great helper!
You are soooo talented! xo
Love your pencils. Any chance of finding out how you attached the decorations to the pencil. I was thinking glue dots but I'm not sure.
Thank you
By the way I just love love love your creations.
Thanks for the compliment, anonymous! If I am remembering correctly, I used Stampin' Up dimensionals to attach the decorations to the pencils. I'm betting glue dots would work, too!
