Orange is the new Pink

Have you ever seen "Legally Blonde" with Reece Witherspoon? It's one of my all-time favorite movies. I can recite it word for word, even if I'm not watching it at the moment. There's one scene at the beginning where Reece's character, Elle, is introducing herself to her fellow classmates, and she says, "Who ever says orange was the new pink is seriously disturbed." That's the line that came to mind this weekend while I was creating one orange card after another. Where did this new found love of orange come from? Seeing as how I just got off a pink phase, apparently orange is my new pink (and according to Elle Woods, I'm seriously disturbed because of this)!

I have a few goodies to send off in the mail today, so I made four of these cards yesterday. In case you are not familiar with the acroynm R.A.K., it stands for "Random Act of Kindness" and it's just a way of letting someone know that you're thinking of them.

I used two Inkadinkadoo stamp sets: one for the letters and the other for the flowers. I masked off the "R" in "RAK" so that it would appear in front of the flowers. I used my Prismacolor pencils and OMS to color and shade. I also used the Fiskars scallop punch to make the border on the bottom. The flowers are Prima and the ribbon is DaisyDs.
