Here's my take on the page:
I apologize for the bad pictures. I wish I had a portable photo studio so that I never have to worry about whether it's sunny outside or not (today would be an "or not" sort of day). Anyway, the LO is about Travis and my first Christmas together as a married couple. We gave each other the most exciting gifts!
Today, I'm not so patiently waiting for the UPS man to deliver my Purple Cows 2-in-1 paper trimmer! It's my Christmas present from my mom and dad, and I'm so super excited! I just checked the UPS website, and it says my package is "out for delivery" as of 5:17 am today. I wish UPS was just a little faster. It seems that everything in my town is slow. My mail man might as well be walking backwards (it's almost 2:30 pm and my mail is not here), and the UPS and FedEx drivers seem to dilly-dally. I'm not just saying this because I'm waiting for a package. I'm saying this because it's totally true! I'll try to be a little more patient :)
In just a few minutes I'll start baking some chocolate oat bars that I got off of Becky Higgin's website. They look so good that I just have to try them! Tonight is Travis' turn to make dinner, and Monday's are always taco night for us. I don't know how or when this got started, but we've been having taco Monday for a while now, and Travis has become quite the taco making expert!
Hopefully my paper trimmer will come soon. I'll post some pictures when I get it! Have a great Monday, everyone!

YAY! How exciting - hopefully Mr. UPS man showed up not long after your post. Today must be a slow delivery day cuz my mail wasn't even delivered until after 5 PM (4 hours later)! I had already called the post office because I had a VIP package going out and was wondering if it was going to be picked up. I figure between now and Christmas, I shouldn't expect the mail around 1 PM anymore. ;)
BTW, I love the LO and chronicling your first Christmas together as husband and wife. Thanks for sharing and have fun with your new trimmer!
Very nice scraplift. It feels good to do a page when you've been "away" for a while, doesn't it?
Will you let me know about the Purple Cows thing? I'm on the fence between that one and the one Making Memories has.
Just stopping by to say, HI! I don't normally blog, but this is sorta like "PUBLIC EMAIL", so I'll drop you a line...just for fun!
Sam, I do love your page! On another subject though, I Pm'd you on CKMB, but it is just sitting in my outbox. I did not get in on the CKMB CC Swap, but I would like to send you a Christmas Card. Can you pm me with your address?
Thanks, Marilyn
Great LO! I like your take on it.
I thought I'd pop over and visit your blog... since you're the only one who visits mine! LOL!
Chris
Go UPS! Also, LOVE your lift...it's awesome!
Oh I feel you on the UPS gripes..unfortunately I married my ups guy...lol. He has a nasty habit of pulling my packages off the truck instead of letting it get delivered so i'm waiting patiently by the door all day when much to my dismay the package has been out in his car the entire time and he forgot to tell me! That happens far to often...lol.
Anyway, I'm tagging you girlie!
I love how you incorporate so many photos on a page and yet still create an artistic LO!
You did a fabulous job on the lift!
What a great job you did on the page lift! I love the colours!
You will have to give reviews on your new paper cutter. I am in the market for a new one and can't decide what to get.
