Yup, there's no denying it now. Fall is certainly here. I should have taken the hint from my local JoAnns as I browsed their fall decor collection a few weeks ago. They have the cutest things! I wanted to buy it all up and take it home, but it wasn't on sale just yet. However, I got lucky when I went to JoAnns again yesterday with my friend and found that most all of their decor is 60% off! I picked up this absolutely adorable door hanger for $8! They only had a couple left, so I grabbed him and took him home.
When I get a chance, I'm going to hang him on the outside of my craft room door. I would put him outside on the front door, but with our crazy wind storms, I'd rather not take the chance of him flying away one day. That would make me sad.
Now, onto something crafty! Since we're talking about fall, and I already showed you the cutest scare crow door hanging, how about a scare crow card? This card is a simple 3x3 that I will be having my guests make at my Stampin' Up workshop in November.
Supplies: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, and Whisper White cardstock; Chocolate Chip 1/4" ribbon; Sanded background stamp; Happy Blessings stamp set; Watercolor Wonder Crayons and blender pens.
Lastly, I have added an e-mail subscription option powered by FeedBlitz. If you would like to receive my blog posts in your inbox, simply enter your e-mail address in the FeedBlitz box at the right side of my blog, and you'll automatically be subscribed! How cool is that?

Hey Sam!! Long time no "see"... love your scarecrow door hanger and your card. The background is pretty neat on the card.
Neat!!! I'm glad you get signs of fall otherwise I don't think I could come out to CA. :) Kidding! Glad you're getting into fall and are decorating (and at a deal too!).
The card looks great and can't wait to make it. Yep - I'm flying out just for your SU workshop. ;)
Umm, Sam? Did you notice that someone stole your grass? heeheehee
