My heart is heavy. It aches. Tears have been flowing from my eyes for over a day now. Isabel lost her battle with cancer yesterday. As I sit here and type those words, I pray that it is not true, but here I sit staring at an empty basket. She will be missed beyond any words I can write here.
As I normally do, I will post a memorial to her, but for now, the emptiness is too fresh; the pain too much. If a bucket of tears could bring her back, she would have been here in a heart beat.
I will be taking a short break from blogging. I hope you understand.

Sam, my thoughts are with you always and have been since Thursday. Isabel was such a dear sweet girl and I felt privileged to have met her last fall. I will miss her dearly too. BIG HUGS to you, my dear friend.

Sam, my heart aches for you as I know the pain you are experiencing with you loss and it's not easy to endure. Although you may not see it, there is light at the end of the tunnel, I promise. Time will allow your pain to dissipate and you will have your memories.
