That was the sound my laptop made late Tuesday night when it decided to die on me; hence, my lack of posts over the past several days. I just got my baby back from the repair shop this evening, and I finally have some time to sit down and post. A new hard drive and upgraded memory, and my computer is working like a dream. Fortunately, I always back-up my files, and I had *just* backed up my computer when it crashed on me which is why I'm not horribly upset about the situation. I will say this - I'm definitely getting a Mac when I can afford one! No more PCs for me. They're constantly crashing!
Since I wasn't able to take pictures of my new cards, I'll share with you a project I did a few weeks ago for a friend who came out to visit me. She has the cutest little dog named Lexi, and I made this little treat bag for her complete with a customized keychain.

It's a little hard to see in this next picture, but I made a little charm with Lexi's picture inside of it. I printed out a very, very small picture and put diamond glaze over the top. I let it sit overnight and viola! Instant personalized charm :)

Tomorrow, we're going Christmas tree hunting! There's nothing like the smell of fresh pine to really get you in the holiday spirit. Once it's all decorated, I'll snap some pictures and post them!
Oh! One more thing. A while back
Jennifer McGuire had asked for some organizational tips, and she posted mine as one of her favorites! I told her about the way I store my Prismacolor pencils. Here's my tip:

Alrighty, I'll see you all Monday barring any ka-putting accidents.

I am glad they were able to fix your laptop...boy it is a good thing you back everything up. I'd be lost without mine :o)
Your storage tip is SO clever...wow! how come I didn't think of that? I am not surprised she posted it.
Have a super day!

Glad that your computer was fixed and working better than ever! That's a scary thing...to not have a computer around for a few days. I think I would have serious withdrawals!!!
I love your little treat bag and pencil organization...great idea!
I'm glad that you're back! I had seen your tip on Jennifer's blog and was so excited! That is an awesome tip! :) Enjoy having your baby back! :)
Yay! Your storage tip is awesome and so glad Jennifer featured it - woo hoo! Lexi thanks you for making her famous - although I think the fame is going to her head. :)
Toot toot toot to you for getting recognized on JM's blog, that's so cool! The Lexi charm and bag are so adorable ... but it helps to have an adorable dog!
I haven't been to your blog for a while, so I was catching up and saw the posts about your little Zoe. I'm so sorry, Sam! What a sweet tribute to her.
