A little album

Happy Thursday! I thought I'd share the mini album I've been working on for the last several weeks. It actually hasn't taken me that long to complete, but you know how it goes - you work on a project for a while and then you put it down and pick it up again later. This 8x8 album is of a trip that we took to Lake Mead back in 2006. I'm still working on the journaling, but for the most part, it's almost finished. It's super simple and very minimal in style. Sorry that the pictures aren't the best quality today.

Here's the cover page with a picture I took of the lake. I used my Cricut to cut out the title.

This two-page layout is all about Sedona. It's called "Just Plain Cute." I have a Making Memories journaling page behind the first picture, but I have yet to write anything on it. I took these pictures of her while we were in the car and she was sitting in the back.

The title of this page is "Biggest Girl," and it's a bit difficult to see with the glare. Again, I did a very simple two-page layout of me and my hubby with Sedona in the lake. I have minimal embellies because I really wanted the photos to stand out. The pictures I took are very vibrant, and I wanted them to tell the story.

I have other pages in my album that I'll share with you on a later date. I know I'll have some cards to share with you this weekend! I hope you check back then!

I love feeding the carp over by the marina...... come right up to the water to eat....Hope you have a great weekend..
