Sorry about the "Invite Only" status
Hi, everyone! I know I've been MIA for a little while, but things have been crazy right now. I just wanted to give you all a quick explanation as to why my blog is now in an "invite only" status. A few days ago, I had a random person steal money from my checking account via my PayPal account. I disputed the matter with PayPal, and they found in my favor and put the money back in my account yesterday. Apparently, the would-be-theif was unhappy about PayPal reversing the transaction, and he/she sent me a very nasty e-mail with some of my personal information that he/she had acquired, no doubt through my blog. I now have to take precautions to protect myself and my family. I'm sorry for the inconvinience and hope that you will still visit me here. Perhaps one day I will reopen my blog to the public, but for now, it will remain closed.

OMG! OMG! First -- I'm thrilled to hear from you, I think about you often and miss you! But what an awful thing to happen! I had my very first sale on Etsy last week, and while it (so far) has gone well, it did make me feel very vulnerable. Between that, ScrapBuzz, my personal blog, and my CM business site ... I'm feeling like I've got too much out there. I can totally understand your need to go to invite-only. I'm glad you thought to send me an invite, thanks!!
Bless your heart! Don't apologize to us about making this private. You have to protect yourself. I'm so glad that you got your money back, and I hope that nasty person doesn't bother you anymore.
Hi Sam, good to hear from you again!! What a mess and then for this person to email you and be that way. Best you have done it this way...now-a-days you can't take a chance.
That's one reason why my flickr gallery is for friends and family. I don't want my DGDs pictures out there for just anyone to see or use. Hope you are feeling better and will be back on the AMR board soon. Take care and thanks for the invite too. :-)

How scary! I would follow the same steps that you have taken. I hope this incident is resolved and that creepy person is history. Sending good thoughts your way!
Geepers that is awful! How on earth were they able to compromise a company like paypal???? & then send you a nasty mail...heck! What is the world coming to.

I am sorry about what happened. Thanks for letting me in! lol What a JERK that person was, and to have the gall to email you about it!!! Hopefully that will give you something to work for tracking them down! Glad to see you back!

Oh this is just awful! I have been hearing about this so much lately (paypal thefts and threatening emails). I am so sorry you had to go through this. Thanks for inviting me back, I do love your blog and all your creativeness.

I was wondering what happened - that's just horrible. AND you aren't the only person I know who has been through this lately...so ridiculous and unfair :(
