Thinking of You

It's Friday everyone. Yipee! I want to thank you all for the well-wishes for my hubby because they seemed to work! He's feeling so much better. I think it must have been one of those 24-hour bugs. He's still really fatigued, but it's been a long work week for him.

Today's card is for a friend of mine who is recovering from surgery. I know she won't be able to peek at it because she's not allowed on the computer just yet.

The stamps on this card are from the $1 Studio G clear stamp collection, and the paper and tag are from Basic Grey's "Perhaps" line. I used my corner rounder to make the scalloped border on the pink paper. I'm getting pretty good using that thing to make scalloped edges. It takes a little practice, but it's well worth learning how to do it.

I hope you all have a terrific weekend! I'll be back on Monday with (hopefully) a wedding LO and some more cards. Until then, happy scrapping!!

Glad your hubby's feeling better! Mine was sick last week and it really stinks when they're sick; especially at Valentine's!

Thanks for your willingness to help with the heritage album. Right now my focus has been on getting copies of the birth certificates. I've gone through ancestry.com and they gave me the "general index to births". It tells what book and page the certificates can be found on, but I don't have a clue where to find the book. It really is a much bigger task than I thought it would be. Most of the pics I have do have a story to go with it. I was thinking, since I have so many pics, maybe I should choose only a few to scrap and not tackle the whole lot of them. I don't know.

Oh well, until tomarrow. Have a great weekend!
