My friend, Kelli, has tagged me! I've only been tagged once before, so here are my seven random facts:
- I love birds. I love learning about their behavior and their biology. I have over a hundred books on birds, numerous CDs and serveral computer programs. I can identify quite a few by call and/or song alone, and I'm not too shabby at identifying them in the field. It's kind-of my thing!
- I am thoroughly obsessed with stamps right now. I wasn't a stamper earlier this year, but boy am I addicted now!!
- One of my pet-peeves is melted chocolate. I know that sounds wierd, but when I'm out in the field and I reach for that chocolate-chip cookie for a snack and all the chips are melted and sticking to the plastic bag, I am not a happy camper.
- My favorite animal is the hippo. I have been in love with them ever since I could talk, and I've been collecting them in all sorts of forms for many, many years now. Friends and family are always on the look-out for hippos for me.
- I have a massive collection of stationary and pens. I started collecting when I was very young, even before all the big-chain office stores like Office Depot, Office Max, and Staples, were around. I go through my pens every six months to make sure they're still working, and if they're not, out they go!
- I am a creative instructor. I teach all levels of beading and polymer clay art, and I love every minute of it!
- My bedroom is a tribute to the log cabin look. Our bed is made of pine logs, and it's so high that I have to jump in it at night!

I read someone else's random facts...oops, I was also just tagged again and was going to post 7 random facts, but totally forgot.
Anyhow, I thought I'd share that I was born in NY, moved to IN, PA, MA, VT, CT, OH, IL, CA, and GA, and finally back to OH. My dad is a priest and my husband is in the Army, so that's why we've moved so much.
My favorite thing to eat is icecream. and i became lactose intollerent @ age 22...i JUST turned 23 on the fifth! How random! so NOW i have to carry pills around with me incase i want icecream or starbucks or ANYTHING with milk in it.....:( sad times!
P.S Your dog is HUGE & Cute My BIL has a harliquin!
You know all about birds? Are you good at explaining bird behavior? What about a male lovebird who thinks that plastic bottle caps are his wives/children, and thus regularly mates with them and regurgitates seed into their "mouths?"
I really dislike turnips. I'm never faced with the necessity of eating them (none of my or my husband's family likes them either), but I still dislike turnips.

Wanted to say I just read your new post on the MB with altered frames and mirror. They are fantastic!!! Man , you will be hot at the craft show! Make sure you have plenty of change and bags ready.
And my random fact. My DH is who started me in the craft shows. I made him an altered frame for a gift and it is all been history since.lol

Sam...your cards and altered art items are amazing! You have totally inspired me to do cards. I'm not the best, but I have made 2 birthday cards and an anniversary card in the last few weeks. No where near as quick as you and Latrice tho.
My random fact: hmmm...My favorite holiday is Christmas and my husband and I collect Hallmark ornaments. We are almost obsessive about it. We go every year to the ornament premiere in July. That's right, July at midnight. It's us, two young 20-somethings and a bunch of old gray-haired ladies. Buying ornaments in July. Crazy huh? :)

Oops...the first time I read this, I totally overlooked the RAK entry and the random fact. So here goes--
Whenever I see Al Pashanno, the song "Ashes to Ashes" by David Bowie pops into my head. Who is Al Pashanno, you ask? He's the father of a guy I used to have an ENORMOUS crush on.
I collect Swarovski Christmas ornaments and it is my dream one day to have a tree full of sparking crystal ornaments (and also my nightmare that the tree would fall over due to the weight!) ;)
This is my first time seeing your blog! When I have the time, I love to chat on CKMB.
anyway, a random fact about me...I can say the alphabet backwards faster than forewards!
